When asked what they want to be when they grow up, rarely do children tell you they want to take up electrical engineering, biochemical research, or particle physics. But sometimes, somehow, somewhere along the line, that’s exactly what happens. All they need is the right inspiration.
With mentorship, guidance and hands-on learning opportunities, Avnet has spent years passing on a love for science, technology, engineering and math to the next generation. Avnet believes that instilling a love for STEM in today’s youth will lead to a better, brighter, more sustainable tomorrow and we work hard to share our passion through programs across the world.
Avnet invests in the next generation of STEM dreamers because we believe that every child has the potential to create change. Through the programs we offer, we encourage them to learn, grow and think big--positioning them to become the next generation of engineers and scientists.
Here are a few examples of how we support tomorrow's thinkers and inventors. There is no better time than now to inspire young adults to enter STEM fields.
